More whining about work
Jul. 19th, 2007 08:21 pmGod, my boss is hopeless with setting priorities. Honestly, I don't know how much longer I can shake my head in disbelief. We have a temp for about 3 weeks, hooray. It's Daniel, our old temp. I like him, he's smart and funny and actually useful. But ever since he's been here, she sent him about a million things to do. Nothing wrong with that, except that he's not even close to finished with any of them and she has another idea. All of a sudden, it is of utmost importance there'll be another column added to the neverending list I have been working on for several weeks and the approval date of every single item on this list is to be added. The list is about 300 files long. Of course, this is more important than him preparing the review of the same 300 files that needs to be finished by the end of the month *sigh*.
Thank God, I have another job interview on Monday. It's the third job interview in the last 2 weeks, so I'm hopefully "in the groove" so to speak. The HR Person sounded super nice. My two previous job interviews were okay, but I'm hoping there's good gut feeling after this one. The last time I was looking for a job, I didn't have a hard time deciding to take the job, because of the good gut feeling. And I did like my current job a lot, until the whole merger thing happened and the place went to shit.
