Like a teenager
Mar. 21st, 2007 08:58 pmMy skin apparently feels like a teenager, judging by the amount of breakouts it had in the last couple of months. Last saturday I went to the beautician across the street for the first time. She gave me a facial and a skin care regimen that should hopefully take care of it. It was really relaxing, she also waxed my eyebrows and it didn't hurt at all. My beautician is a resolute, chatty spanish women. She feels that if I follow the skin care regimen and come by for a facial every once in a while, I can get a completly different skin in a couple of months.
Yesterday in my Italian class, I also felt like a teenager. See, there's this guy that's new in our class and he's cute. Not heartpoundingly cute, just pretty in a babyfaced, boyish way. He was partnered with me and I totally got tongue-tied. Not that I'm usually fluent in Italian, but I was stuttering and stammering even more than usual. I'm simply not accustomed to being around pretty guys.
