The Good and the Bad
Mar. 16th, 2007 11:17 pmThere are positive and negative things about where we moved to with work. One of the things I love is that in the new building in the kitchen/breakroom, there's a microwave and a bigger fridge. Because of that I can store more stuff in the fridge, like microwave meals, salads, sandwiches. I love having access to a microwave again. I'm thinking of buying one for my apartment. Although I probably don't really need it. The commute to my new place of work is easier. All I have to do is sit in the bus and get off at the end of the line. Somehow it's a lot more relaxing than before. The only thing I miss is the free newspaper. Another thing that's strange and I'm still getting used to is that we have a key to open the door, we don't use our badge anymore. But I think the most infuriating change because of our move is the fact that our network connection is superslow. It was slow before, but now it's slowed down to a crawl, basically. It's so frustrating... You want to work, but you have to wait for the system to get things done. We're constantly complaining to the higher ups, but so far, with no luck.
