National Holiday

Today I had the day off because of our national holiday. I slept in and watched Parts 1 to 6 of Band of Brothers again. The weather was ghastly once again. But at least this year, there were no neo-nazis on the Rütli. I don't do much on August 1, I don't really celebrate it. I only take a couple of minutes to think about how grateful I am for being born in a western european country, in a democracy.
