High on Fumes

I'm free, free I tell you. My farewell party at work on Tuesday was until about 8 and the only ones left were Roberto, Shirley and I. Roberto helped me carry the boat loads of crap home. I knew him living close by would come in handy one day. The whole thing hasn't quite sunk in yet. I wonder how my job reference from there is gonna look, 'cause my old boss left Mid-August. My new boss has been my boss for the last 3 months there and I don't think I've ever been more unmotivated at a job.
Freedom would taste sweeter if there wasn't work done in the apartment directly over mine. And with work I mean, something that makes my apartment smell of chemical fumes and makes it sound like an airplane is landing in my bedroom. I sent an angry e-mail to my landlord today, asking him when the hell they are gonna be finished, because they have been doing stuff for at least two weeks. Especially because these fuckers aren't limiting their noisy work to business hours. After dealing with the constant noise the whole day I really don't need them to continue their work in the early evening hours.
I spent about 70 bucks on make-up today. So much for my resolution to watch what I'm buying. But the make-up I bought has been recommended to me by Shirley and I like the foundation, I will try the apple facial scrub later and the eyeshadow trio from L'Oreal for green eyes really does work for me.
