It smells like spring
Apr. 6th, 2007 09:19 pmIt was a beautiful day today. The air was cool and smelled faintly of blooming flowers. I love spring, even though I have hayfever. In the afternoon, I went on a long walk all through Zurich. Sometimes I'm amazed of how many pretty houses there are. I saw a really pretty house today which according to the sign at the door is a school, and not even a private school.
On a related note, Zurich topped the list as the city with the highest overall quality of living in the world. Not that this is surprising to me, of course. I love living here.
When I came home, I got some stuff done. I cleaned my bedroom windows, kitchen windows and the bathroom mirror. I also finally removed the dried leaves off my balcony, something I wanted to do for months. Plus I finally filled out the lists for the election of next weekend. I almost threw out something important in the process. If I hadn't been convinced that there should be another list, I totally would have thrown it away.
